“May his (or her) God be with him (or her)...” (Ezra 1 v 3)
Sincerity
Conformity
Equality
Mercy
Charity
Importunity
Order God’s glory,
Often silently.
We have to pray
Offering faith
In true tranquillity,
That of hope
Placed firmly, securely,
Expressed prayerfully,
Always hopefully
In the Trinity.
The true love
Is offered to us,
Due to the †
Of completed victory.
Faith is a journey
To be undertaken
Prayerfully, daily,
Ardently, sincerely,
Fervently, zealously,
Personally, silently.
“Then you will call upon Me and so pray to Me; and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29 v 12, 13)
“I will be found by you, says the LORD, and will bring you back from your captivity.” (Jeremiah 29 v 14)
Thank You for this promise, for my soul is empty and sorrowful without You, dearest Father, Father of love, of compassion and mercy. Yours is our healing by the gift of Your Son and Your Spirit of truth, who speak
wisdom to us. Let me ever look to the †of salvation. By Your Son’s saving death and resurrection You free us from sin and stupidity.
Lord, we seek hope, harmony, unity with You through Your Son, by Your Spirit of peace. We need Your love poured into our hearts in largest measure, for this is the means by which we know You are at work with us,
in us, amongst us. May Your Spirit make us sincere in our efforts to conform to Your will.
Your will is that we all come to love, honour and serve You through Jesus. I am sorry for the times we fail in this, for when we spoil that which the Spirit lays before us as the correct thing to do. May we repent and start again through the forgiveness offered in Jesus.
Let Your mercy, Your forgiveness, Lord God, make a real difference to how we treat others, to our attitudes towards the hurts we receive, the faults we perceive as impairing our life. In the forgiveness found at the †,
please help us to forgive each other. We need Your justice and peace to be real to us.
Lord, we need the blessing and healing of Your peace in us and amongst us, so let us pray in the silence of personal prayer, with an ardent hope placed firmly in the Trinity where Your love is true. Please heed the
silence of our yearning hearts and praying minds which claim the †of victory, praising the gift of Jesus our Brother.
Lord, we need to always dig deeper in faith so as to clearly identify the reasons behind, beneath our decisions, actions, reactions. Again, our need of Your Spirit is urgent.
Please direct in all wisdom and truth our efforts to live a godly life, by the Holy Spirit sharing our prayer through Jesus and shaping our thoughts, especially the supplications.
Then, equally importantly, may the Spirit as often as is necessary, lead us to pray with remorse for all we get wrong, endeavouring through repentance to do better in the future.
And last, but certainly not least, I ask that the Holy Spirit fill our heart, mind and mouth with all praise and thanksgiving for the wonder of who You are Lord God, and all You do for us.
All glory ever be daily, now into eternity, to You as a Trinity of love and mercy, inviting us to become family in Jesus our Saviour, by means of the Holy Spirit who sanctifies us.
Ever we must venerate our Saviour at the †, offering our adoration to You, dearest Father of every mercy, fully appreciative of the gifted Spirit, He who helps us to live prayerfully.
Richly indeed we are blessed by the benefits of turning to You as our Protector, Provider, Saviour, Redeemer and Restorer, knowing all will be well in the end as Saint Julian of Norwich said: “All manner of things
shall be well.” Amen.
